Past topics have covered proposals on legislation, the development of the remanufacturing industry, the promotion of innovation in intelligent connected vehicles and thoughts on cross-border data flows, with insightful analysis and Lingang willingness to engage in exchanges with corporates. With the support from the central ministries and the Shanghai municipal governments, the Lingang special area has stepped up efforts to promote closed testing of intelligent connected vehicles, foreign trade in automobiles and spare parts over the past two years. In addition, in areas such as cross-border data flow and individual enterprises and specific scenarios in the remanufacturing industry, the import of used parts of key components are promoted. Both parties are willing to do further exchanges on the working group platform to introduce the current situation and medium and long-term plans on the special area's policy system, key areas, and investment environment.

In light of recent concerns from Brussels on magnesium shortages (as a crucial component for various critical industries including automatic and aerospace, this online meeting between the Delegation of the European Union to China (DG Grow) and European Chamber PCR Chairs and industry players aimed to facilitate discussion on causes and effects of the magnesium shortages, in the hopes of anticipating future bottlenecks on critical raw materials. Issues including the power shortages and China's decarbonisation strategy were discussed.
