Vice President Miguel Montoya Speaks at Beijing International Youth Innovation and Development Forum

Mr. Miguel Montoya, vice president of the European Chamber delivered a speech on “How to empower the innovative development of youth talents” as one of the keynote speakers at the Beijing International Youth Innovation and Development Forum on 26th May 2023. Mr. Montoya shared the key findings from the European Chamber’s second report on R&D and highlighted broader issues need to be addressed both to ensure that China remains an alluring investment destination and that R&D activities of European companies gain momentum, so that foreign-invested companies can continue to contribute to talent cultivation and job creation for young talent in China; meanwhile, it’s important to encourage the mobility of people in both directions.
As one of the subforums of the 2023 Zhongguancun Forum, the Beijing International Youth Innovation and Development Forum is hosted by Beijing Talent Work Bureau, China Daily and a center for overseas talent in Beijing.
