Meeting with China Quality Supervising and Test Centre for Gas Appliances

On 17 April 2023, 14 ECHI members joined two close-door industry dialogues with the Director of China Quality Supervising and Test Center For Gas Appliances (CGAC) at the CGAC Gas Appliance Technical and Communication seminars in Mianyang, Sichuan.

ECHI members were gathered to seek updates on implementing the promotion plan for the condensing boilers in the Chinese market, green certification work, and the group standard CECS Code for Heater Industry label Standard. Experts made presentations for the China gas wall-hung boiler market and hosted a heated discussion with domestic industry representatives. Conclusion on promoting the condensing boilers and promoting consumer awareness of the product is well recognised and received, the next step is to submit articles and comments to monitor the work.
