European Chamber representatives meet with European Council President Charles Michel

On 25th November, a delegation of European Chamber representatives led by President Joerg Wuttke met with European Council President Charles Michel and his team ahead of his visit to China.

During the meeting, President Wuttke outlined the key trends that were shaping China's political, social and economic environment, and the impact of the Chinese leadership response to them on European businesses. Other European Chamber participants shared their insights on both horizontal issues such as the situation for small and medium-sized enterprises and sectoral issues - in particular on the energy, financial services and automotive sectors.
