Meeting with Guangdong Administration of Market Regulation Deputy Director General on GBA Standardization

On June 21st, European Chamber South China Board Vice Chair Fabian Blake and South China Standards and Conformity Assessment Working Group Chair Cindy Wang led a meeting with Guangdong Administration of Market Regulation Deputy Director General Gao Guosheng.

The 2 hour meeting covered topics including understanding the policies of the Greater Bay Area on standardization and certification, discussion on the ways and means for European institutions and enterprises to participate in the work, as well as suggestions from the working group on how to contribute to the effective design of the Greater Bay Area standardization pilot projects. We also presented the 2021/2022 Position Paper.
