Meeting with the General Office of The CPPCC Shanghai Committee

On 27th Sep, European Chamber Shanghai Chapter General Manager Dr. Ioana Kraft met with Mr. Wang Junwei, 2nd Inspector of the General Office of The CPPCC Shanghai Committee.
Dr. Ioana Kraft introduced our recent activities and the key findings of the newly released European Business in China Position Paper 2021/2022, especially highlighted the challenges facing by the European companies including visa issues for foreign nationals entering China, the new Individual Income Tax Law for expatriates, general impact of power cuts etc. Mr. Wang said that they appreciated the cooperation between the two sides in the past years and EUCCC Shanghai Chapter is one of the important partners for them, they welcome all the recommendations from us and the EU business community. In the meeting, the Shanghai Committee invited us to speak and attend their annual briefing which will be hosted on Nov 18th, 2021 in Shanghai.
