Meeting with Transportation Department of the Ministry of Transportation

As the only foreign representatives, EUCCC participated and contributed to the  10 ministries joint agreement on promoting the transformation and upgrading of the automobile repairing industry to regulate the AM market in China with the suppport of EUCCC PP 2014/2015. We were recognised as the powerful engine by DG Liu Xiaoming, and DDG Xie Jiaju from the Trasportation Department of MOT.

The courage from MOT leading this practice and joint effort with other 9 related ministies is a great start, we would strongly support their needs, and our Auto Components PP 1.1/1.2/1.3 is now a lobby success, as it has reached its purpose from last year continously into this year with an action plan covered by the agreement and DDG speaking note to all participants.

Next step, China Auto Parts Association will lead a delegation to Ji'nan(24 Sept.), Guangzhou (26th Sept.), Wuhan, Beijing (10 October), Shanghai(13th Oct.) to engage with auto parts manufactures as well as distributors to introduce this practice and answering questions from local level on how to have us help them identify the telematic information and to what extend shall the information from OEM to OPS, to which level etc. - this is their question, but this is our chance.
