ICT WG Vice-chair Delivers Key Note Speech at the World Semiconductor Conference and Expo in Nanjing

On 9th June 2021, Nanjing, ICT WG Vice-chair Dr Jinlong LI was invited to deliver a key note speech at the 2021 World Semiconductor Conference and Expo. In his speech, Dr Li addresses the determination of the European ICT industry to continue their cooperation with China. He also addresses the barriers that needs to be tackled, such as existing market access barriers for the foreign ICT industry in China, the need for further international harmonisation in ICT standardisation, or the protection of intellectual property of investing European companies in China.

Other speakers included Mr Liming HAN, member of the CPC Standing Committee of Jiangsu Province and Party Secretary in Nanjing Municipality; Mr Yueshan QIAO, Director General of the Department of Information Technology under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT); and Mr Li ZHANG, Executive Vice-chairmam pf the China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA) and President of China Centre for Information Industry Development (CCID).
