Meeting with vice mayor of Chuzhou Municipal Government

On 15th July, European Chamber Nanjing Chapter board members, led by Bernhard Weber, chair of the Nanjing Chapter, paid a visit to Chuzhou, Anhui province and met with Liu Maosong, vice mayor of Chuzhou Municipal Government.
Mr Liu welcomed the European Chamber delegation and briefly introduced the history, rich culture, as well as the development of Chuzhou. He also outlined Chuzhou’s blueprint to promote the home appliance industry, food and beverage industry and auto industry. The two sides also discussed the potential for future collaboration between European businesses and Chuzhou.
Mr Weber presented the Business Confidence Survey 2020 to Mr Liu. A round-table discussion on the report was organised afterwards with representatives from local European business and government.
