Comments to the SAMR on Measures for Handling Complaints and Reports on Market Supervision and Management

On 10th May, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) published the draft Measures for Handling Complaints and Reports on Market Supervision and Management ("the Measures")) and asked for public consultation. The Measures aim to centralise the existing multiple channels of filing complaints and reporting and standardise the process of handling a complaint or report. Several Working Groups including F&L Desk, HCE, FSMP, L&C and others submitted comments in a bid to make the Measures more precise in defining certain terms like 'repeated complaints', 'business place of an online sale' and try to clarify certain requirements to avoid confusion in implementation.
