European Chamber briefing on Greater Bay Area with Carmen Cano, Head of the European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao

Carmen Cano, Head of the European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao met with members of the European Chamber to speak about the developments of the Greater Bay Area (GBA) initiative and its impact on businesses operating in the region on April 19th in Guangzhou. The GBA initiative combines Hong Kong, Macau and the cities of Guangdong to build a new powerhouse. However, for the area to succeed, the relevant infrastructure, policies and regulations will all have to be in place ensure people, goods and services are able to flow freely within the region. The GBA initiative development is closely followed by the European Chamber and foreign businesses operating in Guangdong.
