Meeting with Director General Mr. Ma Xianghui of MIIT SME Bureau

The MIIT SME Bureau Director General Mr. Ma Xianghui, accompanied by Director of Policy Planning Mr. Zhang Haiying and Division Director of International Cooperation Ms. Lian Li, met with European Chamber Secretary General Mr. Adam Dunnett and Deputy Head of Government Affairs Mr. Xavier Sans Powell.

The two parties discussed over the ongoing revision of the SME Promotion Act and its guiding role for future legislation and policymaking of pertinent Ministries and government bodies at all levels. The meeting also touched upon the SME Development Fund and the access of European SMEs to the funds. The meeting ended on a positive note where the two sides agreed to continue the open and constructive communications that have been established over the past years.
