Meeting with Hengqin New Area Authority (横琴新区管理委员会)

The European Chamber had an exclusive dialogue with Administrative Committee of Hengqin New Area (横琴新区管理委员会). This meeting was also joined by the representatives from Zhuhai Hengqin Bureau of Commerce, Hengqin Development Limited Liability Company, and 4 European Consulate Generals in Guangzhou (France, the Netherlands, Spain and Poland).

Deputy director of the Administrative Committee of Hengqin New Area Mr. Yan Wu gave the welcome speech, and speakers from Administrative Committee of Hengqin New Area and Hengqin Development Limited Liability Company gave guidance for foreign investors by making presentations on Hengqin’s business environment  and preferential policies.

The attendees raised their questions and suggestions to Hengqin Authority on its latest policies and how foreign enterprises could benefit from them. After the meeting, the attendees visited Hengqin Innovation Valley.  It is believed that this meeting will help member companies keep track with the latest policies in Hengqin Free Trade Zone and lay the foundation for a more open and frequent communication between the European Chamber and the Hengqin Authority.
