MH thanked the counterpart for taking the time to meet with the Chamber delegation and updated the counterpart on the general business environment in China.
DS introduced the general information and initiatives between EU and China in research and innovation cooperation projects. Currently, there are two projects: the G20 Initiative and the Urbanisation project, and the European Chamber is encouraged to participate both projects.
MB believed that it is important to promote the interests of European business in China in such initiatives and taking the principle of reciprocity into account. Besides, IPR protection shall be also an issue to be taken into account in such project. If China wants to become more innovative, then China will have to enforce the IPR laws and regulations more firmly.
