About the project:
The project “Sino-German Dialogue on Industrial Data Ecosystems” is looking for a junior Researcher (internship) to join a highly motivated and skilled project team in Beijing.
The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and is implemented by GIZ. The project supports BMWK in its dialogue with the Chinese government as well as the private sector on establishing a global data ecosystem for key industries of both countries, e.g. the automotive industry. The GIZ team manages complex networks to government and industry stakeholders in China and Germany, provides in-depth advisory on industry, technology, and policy developments, and strengthens professional external communication with the public.
Job description
The Tasks:
You will be part of an international advisor team that supports German policymakers in their dialogues with their Chinese cooperation partners in the field of industry policy and technology development. Within the advisor team, this role has a focus on policy and data regulation.
