Under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatisation, and the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, co-organised by the European Chamber, Shanghai Economic & Trade Commercial Mediation Center, and the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone IP Association, we are delighted to invite you to the EU-China Intellectual Property Protection Salon — Multichannel Approaches to IP Dispute Resolution as part of the 7th Shanghai Commercial Mediation Promotion Week. The salon will be held on Tuesday, 2 December 2025, from 14:00 to 16:00, at European Chamber Shanghai Chapter (Unit 2204, Shuion Plaza, No. 333 Huaihai Middle Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai).

IPR WG Meeting: Overview of Design Protection and Enforcement in China

The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the 2025-2026 WG Chair/Vice-Chair Election of the Legal and Competition WG v2 and its WG meeting on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR, topic to be confirmed). It will be held on 15:00 – 16:30 Thursday 6th November, offline at the European Chamber Shanghai Office, as well as online. At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to elect new Vice Chairs for the working group and get insights from the global perspectives on ADR. The Chair and Vice Chairs play a crucial role in driving the WG, which includes a leadership role in the drafting of the WG Position Paper, communicating key messages to Chinese and European government authorities, and steering Working Group meetings. Please note that starting from the 2025 election cycle, Chairs and Vice-Chairs will have a two-year term renewable by another two-year term, counting from March 2025.

Decoding China's Export Control Regime
