As a direct result of the EU-China Energy Roadmap agreed upon by China and the EU in the context of the 2016 Summit, 2018 marked the start of the of the EU-China Energy Cooperation Platform (ECECP), a 3.5 million Euro project aimed at enhancing the EU-China cooperation on energy.
