A strong corporate culture that invests in diversity and inclusion is one of the greatest competitive advantages a company can have. The lack of diversity in leadership is a missed opportunity for businesses, to gain benefits from inclusivity, a company’s commitment to diversity must be modeled by its leaders, in the C-suite and at all levels of leadership.
Does your company have diversity in its leadership? If not, you could be missing out on a host of business benefits, like more innovation, higher revenues and stronger talent acquisition opportunities.

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and the leaders who share their stories are all proud of contributing to creating more inclusive workplaces.

At this meeting we will discuss the agenda for this year’s Position Paper and decide upon what we would like to highlight in our WG’s Position Paper this year (e.g., decide which key recommendations to keep and new key recommendations to put in). The European Business in China – Position Paper (Position Paper) is the European Chamber’s primary annual publication. It delivers to the Chinese Government over 800 detailed recommendations for improving the business environment, spread across 34 industry sectors and horizontal issues. The Position Paper details how persistent issues, such as limited market access and a complex regulatory environment, prevent European businesses from contributing fully to China’s sustainable development.

As China is well on its way to become a global superpower, over decades, organisations have recognised this potential and the possibilities its untapped market holds. New and well-established businesses acknowledge that China calls for a whole different approach to understand its dynamics, no matter the industry. Understanding and optimizing all factors involved in a businesses’ China strategy is the key for those looking to expand their operations.
This event will focus on what the future holds for organisations looking to expand in China, a glimpse into developing the right China strategy, and lesson sharing from veteran expansion managers.

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China welcomes various speakers with experience in China expansion to share their view on this matter.
