China’s ambitious pledge to become carbon-neutral by 2060 has brought global attention to the country’s domestic energy transition and green transformation. Yet equally important will be an ecological approach to the many infrastructure and construction projects that Chinese firms carry out abroad, such as in countries along the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). With billions of dollars in investment earmarked for renewable energy projects and China’s commitment to ‘greening’ the BRI, these projects offer a unique opportunity for stakeholders to drive sustainable development around the world.
Join us for a comprehensive overview of sustainable Chinese projects abroad, including opportunities for European participation, with speakers from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Schneider Electric, and Dorsey & Whitney.
