In order to promote policy implementation, improve government services, and optimize the business environment, the Shanghai Institute of Safety Science and Technology, the Shanghai Emergency Management Affairs and Chemical Registration Center, and GBK China will jointly build a platform to hold the 3rd Symposium on Public Welfare Publicity and Implementation of EU Enterprises in Shanghai - New PRC Law on Work Safety and Hazardous Chemicals Registration Regulations.

Numerous applications were received from companies based in and outside of the European member states in the 2023 submission process. To highlight the successful stories of the winning applications from this year, we group the winners by the countries of origin. In this talk, we are inviting companies originating from France, FORVIA Faurecia China, Lesaffre, and VEOLIA, who won the 2023 SBA in these categories respectively - Decarbonisation Leader, Rural Development Pioneer, and Circular Economy Pioneer, to outline their successful projects and practices. To recognise the contribution of French companies to sustainability, the Chamber is also inviting a representative from the Consulate General of the Republic of France in Shanghai to deliver the closing remarks.

Since 2008, the policy of deducting research and development (R&D) expenses for tax purposes has been formally recognized in legal terms.
