Throughout the past months, various actors in the EU have been sounding the alarm bells regarding overcapacities generated by Chinese production in a number of key sectors. Will the overcapacity set China, the EU, and the US on a dangerous course of trade confrontation in 2024? What are the policy options the three actors have at hand to address this issue?
