The recently amended Safety of Life at Sea Convention (SOLAS) on Verified Gross Mass (VGM) will take effect from July 1st, 2016 and will broadly affect shippers, forwarders and carriers. However, many detailed implementation rules remain unclear and need further interpretation and discussion. The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to the working group meeting on Wednesday, 9:00am to 12:00pm, February 24th, 2016 to share your knowledge on this issue as well as discuss the main industry concerns to be addressed in the 2016/2017 Position Paper
