This year the European Chamber Shanghai Chapter will run the 6th cycle of its flagship project: Sustainable Business Awards 2022 (SBA). The SBA is to reward excellence in sustainable and CSR company programmes and raise awareness about sustainable business practices and responsible operating models. Resilient Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure Leader continues to be one of the six categories for this year’s awards.
We are delighted to invite you to attend the SBA 2022 - Sustainable CEO Talk Series: Resilient Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure Leader. In this CEO Talk, winners of this category from past years will outline their successful projects and practises in innovative infrastructure, innovative solutions, support to local suppliers and others.

How to pay:
Pay while registering or will receive a payment notification email from the Chamber with payment QR code prior to the event date
Payment deadline: Wednesday 24th August afternoon
Advisory Council members: two free tickets for each member
ZOOM link: will be shared with PAID registrants on Wednesday 24th August late afternoon, in an email
Invoice: digital 普票 will be issued to registrants who applied when doing registration, in 10 work days from 25th August.

If you cannot attend an event for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than one business day prior to the event. If you fail to notify us of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will be charged for event costs.

Advisory Council Policy:
Members of the Advisory Council may receive complimentary admission to Chamber seminars, conferences and factory visits up to two attendees per event. Additional participants will be charged at the member rate.
Advisory Council members will still be charged the standard member rate for participation in training courses and special events, such as gala balls, government appreciation dinners, or admission to tournaments.

Speakers
Mr. Francois Fevrier
Francois Fevrier has been appointed CEO of Water in SUEZ Asia since July 2015.
He joined SUEZ in 1989. He previously held several executive positions which include Sales Director for Operation and Maintenance and Sales Director for Eastern Europe in the Standard Product Division at the Group's Treatment Infrastructure business, formerly known as Degrémont. He also served as Managing Director of the Group's Water and Wastewater Treatment Equipment brand, previously known as ozonia®, in Zurich, where he also led the establishment of Degrémont Technologies. In September 2008, François was appointed Executive Vice President of Business Operation of Degrémont, where he focused on the Middle East, Dubai, Delhi, Beijing and Sydney markets.
He earned his Bachelor's degrees at Agro Paris Tech and the Institut De Contrôle De Gestion in France.
Ms. Monique Maissan
Monique Maissan is a Dutch entrepreneur and textile engineer specialised in sustainable solutions for the industry. As CEO and founder of “ Waste2Wear “, she leads a committed team in creating products from recycled plastics since 2007, making them a true pioneer in the industry. The core business is in creating yarns and fabrics from recycled plastic bottles (RPET).
Through Monique’s leadership, Waste2Wear won the highly coveted 2021 World Sustainability Award for the most sustainable supply chain due to the unique Waste2Wear blockchain.
All Waste2Wear suppliers are GRS and BSCI certified making the supply chain sustainable, transparent and traceable. QR codes on all their products provide details of the environmental savings per each production run and a ‘how it’s made’ video.
Monique was instrumental in developing the award winning*, world first post-consumer recycled polypropylene products made from discarded domestic appliances such as fridges and washing machines etc.
Monique collaborates with a variety of stakeholders to help create awareness and to find solutions to protect the environment. This includes collaborations with the Jane Goodall Institute, National Geographic and others. Monique is a sought after speaker on conferences and Universities about circularity, and received various awards for her work over the years.
Ms. Cindy Zhang
Cindy is the Chair of CSR Forum from 2020 at European Chamber Shanghai where she has served as Vice Chair and Chairwoman since 2014. Currently, she is the Marketing and Communication Director of Mestä APAC, responsible for marketing and communication strategy and planning, including sustainability communications for Mestä Group in APAC region. Cindy acted as Vice Chair of Finnish Chamber of Shanghai during 2019-2022,
