In general, the major objective of sourcing organizations is to keep costs low, while complying with quality standards and safety requirements. Tracking and reducing costs of quality has become a key priority, both at the level of the buying organization and of the manufacturer. Among invited Forum guest speakers were managers from Andritz, Luvata, China Manufacturing Consultants, TUV Rheinland China, Sofeast as well as professor from Hong Kong Baptist University. Participants shared their experience on what solutions have companies in different industries applied with success and had opportunity for extensive networking within industry experts.
