European Chamber Co-organises EU-China Biopharmaceutical Innovation and Development Roundtable

On 24th November 2022, the EU-China Biopharmaceutical Innovation and Development Roundtable took place using a hybrid format connecting Beijing and Brussels.

The roundtable, co-organised by the European Chamber and the China Society for Drug Regulation (CSDR), with the support from the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), enabled an open dialogue on pro-innovation regulatory policies between representatives from the European pharmaceutical industry and the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

Exclusive VIP Meeting with Li Zhiyu, Vice Mayor of Luzhou

On 15th November 2022, a delegation of Southwest China Chapter of European Chamber visited Luzhou and had an Exclusive VIP Meeting with Zhiyu Li, Vice Mayor of Luzhou and Yechu Zhang, Vice Director, Foreign Affairs Office of Sichuan Province. Mayor Li Introduced the history of Luzhou, the development and advantages of Luzhou. Sally introduced the Chamber to Luzhou government, European business in China and Southwest China and shared SMEs related issues. Director Zhang thanks Luzghou and European Chamber for co-organising the event to promote mutual understanding. Some representatives from member companies made speeches to introduced their companies to the guests, shared what they have done in Luzhou and the fields what they might have cooperation with Luzhou in future.

Dinner Meeting with Yu Changhe, Mayor of Luzhou

On 14th November 2022, a delegation of Southwest China Chapter of European Chamber visited Luzhou and had a dinner meeting with Xianhe Yu, Mayor of Luzhou.
