Chamber Delegation Meets with Commissioner Vella on Environmental Issues
Chamber Delegation met with Commissioner Vella on environmental issues such as energy efficiency, and the transition from coal to natural gas as well as pertinent safety and environmental concerns. Commissioner Vella acknoledged and appreciated the consistent efforts and contributions from European Chamber and more clloborations were expected with each other.

Meeting on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020
On 29th November, 2017, the European Chamber had the pleasure to welcome Dr. Laurent Bochereau, Head of Science, Technology and Environment Section, EU Delegation to China to our joint Working Group meeting on Horizon 2020. Mr Bochereau presented the recently released Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020 and share his insights on cooperation opportunities for industries, followed by a Q&A session with the members.

A panel discussion with contribution from information and communication technology, intelligent manufacturing, energy, low carbon, construction and environment sectors, and a short Q&A session were followed after Dr. Hu’s keynote speech.
