Co-organised the China Europe Water Platform Business Exchange Meeting during Water Expo China 2023

On 8th June 2023, the Environment Working Group of the European Chamber co-organised the event on the China-Europe Water Platform Business Exchange Meeting during the Water Expo China 2023 with the International Economic & Technical Cooperation and Exchange Center of Ministry of Water Resources (MWR).
The business meeting will be a side event of the Water Expo China 2023 during 7-9th June 2023. The meeting will touch upon topics on industrial water saving, urban water conservation, smart water conservancy, and digital twin water conservancy.
There were 5 sessions of the meeting. In the first session 'Opening Ceremony', Mr. Jin Hai, Director General, Department of International Cooperation, Science and Technology, Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) delivered opening remarks. In the second session 'Opportunities and Channels', Mr Huang Xiaojun, Chair of Environment Working Group, delivered a speech on China-EU Low-Carbon Water Cooperation on behalf of the European Chamber Environment Working Group. Following the third session came under the theme of 'Cooperation Output', the working group Chair moderated the fourth session 'Technology Exchange’, during which member representatives from Veolia, SUEZ and Schneider Electric shared their practices and insights on industrial waste water treatment, digital transformation for water conservation, and digital twin water management technology.
In the fifth session, the working group Chair delivered a clolsing remarks and concluded the meeting.
