On December 4th, the European Chamber will hold a full day conference on Human Resources in the Hilton Hotel in Shanghai. This "HR Challenges 2007 - Meet the Insiders" conference aims to provide companies with the necessary information and counsel to effectively deal with today's HR challenges. 

Hence, the conference will be packed with case studies and practical advice on how to address the many HR issues prevalent in China nowadays. The conference is also meant to be a platform for networking and exchange amongst HR professionals. To this intent, the traditional plenary sessions on recruitment and leadership will be complemented by a series of practical workshops to enable attendees to meet directly with specialized HR professionals on issues of their choice. The nine specialized workshops will cover such issues as the legal environment for HR, pitfalls in recruitment, recruitment channels and processes, effective retention and leadership programs.

Running concurrently with the Conference shall be an HR Vendors' Expo with 12 exhibitors working in different fields of HR. Public visitors not attending the conference are welcome to visit the Expo that will be located on the 2nd floor next to the conference room.
