2025 CSR Forum Chair Elections
In this meeting, the 2025 CSR Forum Beijing Chair Election will take place. The Corporate Social Responsibility Chair and Vice-Chairs play crucial roles in driving forum activities. The desired qualifications of a Chair and a Vice Chair are a representative with relevant expertise and government and industry contacts who has the time and willingness to support the Forum. The experience of participating in the Forum in the past year is essential. Before applying for the position of Chair or Vice Chair, we recommend that you obtain approval from your company. For more information, please find the attached “The Starter Kit for Chairs”.
Should you be interested in putting your name forward for the election or nominate any candidates, please firstly read the attached “The Starter Kit for Chairs” which outlines the roles and responsibilities of a Chairperson and then please send a short biography and a motivation letter, stating whether you intend to run for Chair or Vice Chair and your plans to promote the Working Group to Mr Ziyao Jing at zyjing@europeanchamber.com.cn no later than 2pm, 14th May 2025. We have one chair position and one vice chair position for the CSR Forum in Beijing.
In accordance with European Chamber internal guidelines, another email will be sent to the Forum prior to the election, with the biographies and motivation letters of all candidates attached. Voting for the election, one vote per company, must be conducted in person at the Forum meeting after each candidate has had the opportunity to give a short speech on why they would like to run in the election. The duration of the term for both Chairs and Vice Chairs is two years. All elected Chairpersons must sign the attached Starter Kit following the election. To familiarise yourself with the Code of Conduct and responsibilities as chairs, please refer to the attached Starter Kit.
We encourage as many of our members as possible to attend the meeting to have their say in the leadership and representation of the Forum in the year ahead.
