Overview to Qingyang District 青羊区简介

Chengdu's Qingyang District, named after the famous Taoist temple Qingyang Monastery within its jurisdiction, is the provenance of Chengdu's over-2,300-year history of city construction and the starting point of the ancient Southern Silk Road and boasts over 70% of the cultural and tourist resources in the city proper, including historical scenic spots such as Jinsha Site, Kuanzhai Alley, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, and Qintai Old Path.
