On 1st January 2023, the newly-revised Law on the Protection of Rights and Interests of Women came into force, improving the protection of women’s rights and interests in China in a wide range of areas.
The revised law stipulates that the state shall take necessary measures to promote gender equality, eliminate discrimination of all forms against women and prohibit the exclusion or restriction of women's legitimate rights and interests.
In light of the current move to promote gender equality, the new set of rules shall also optimise employment security measures for women, prevent and remedy gender discrimination, and create an impartial employment and entrepreneurial environment, according to the law.
Join the webinar on 28th February where prominent speakers will share their insights about the protection of women’s rights in the workplace and touch upon the issues of sexual harassment, prejudiced treatment in hiring and other workplace discrimination.
