The 1st China-Europe Sports Summit ‘Moving Together’ follows the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding between the European Chamber and China’s General Administration of Sports (GAS), in which both parties agreed to build bridges between sports communities in Europe and China. European sports companies in China are keen to support Chinese community goals by promoting a healthy lifestyle, sports activities and wellness to create a better life for all.
The ultimate objective of the initiative is to bring European Sports companies, government players and the local communities together through the integration of sports and education to promote the development of sports in China.
The half-day summit will see experts analyse various aspects of the fast-developing sports landscape in China. Following opening speeches by European and Chinese representatives, four panel discussions featuring representatives from European sports companies, sports opinion leaders and government representatives will dive into the development of the winter sports industry, youth sports development, sports marketing and digital sports as well as the wider ecosystem of the sports industry.

Mr. Robin Trebbe
Robin Trebbe is the Vice President of Adidas Greater China responsible for growing the sports categories in the region.
Trebbe has over two-decades global experience in the retail sector with a focus on Germany, APAC including the Greater China. Before joining Adidas, he worked at INTERSPORT where he was responsible for the implementation of their global strategy and for developing their multichannel e-commerce strategies in China and APAC.
Mr. Jörg Wuttke

Mr. Jörg Wuttke
Joerg (Jörg) Wuttke is Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group. He brings over 25 years' experience as a senior executive working in the China market and Europe-China trade and investment corridor. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wuttke served as the Chief Representative of BASF in China, based in Beijing, where he was responsible for guiding the company’s investment strategies for China, negotiating large projects, and leading government relations. Before BASF, Mr. Wuttke worked with ABB, a multinational power and automation technologies company, for 11 years on the development and financing of large projects in China, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Russia. In 1993, he became Chief Representative for ABB China in Shanghai and in 1994 moved to the President's Office of ABB China, where he was responsible for the development and financing of large-scale industrial projects.
Mr. Wuttke was President of the EU Chamber of Commerce in China from 2007 to 2010, 2014 to 2017, and 2019 to 2023. From 2001 to 2004, he was the Chairman of the German Chamber of Commerce in China. From 2011 to 2019, Mr. Wuttke was Chairman of the BIAC China Task Force of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD (BIAC), a Paris-based body of major business associations that advocates with the OECD. From 2013 to 2016, and again from 2019 to 2023 Mr. Wuttke was Vice Chairman of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, International Cooperation Committee, a group representing Multinational Companies in China.
Among other professional distinctions, Mr. Wuttke has been awarded the Order of Leopold II by King Albert II of Belgium, Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur by President Macron of France, the Order of Italian Star from the President Mattarella of Italy, and the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (Verdienstorden) by President Steinmeier of Germany. Mr. Wuttke serves on the Robert Bosch Internationale Beteiligungen AG Verwaltungsrat Supervisory Board and is a Member of Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS) and the International Board of the Stars Foundation.
Mr. Wuttke earned his bachelor’s degree from DHBW Mannheim and studied Chinese in Shanghai and Taipei. He is based in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Ye Kai, founder and Chairman of SNOW51, is a serial entrepreneur committed to creating new market demand. He insists on beginner's mind, lifelong learning, and ultimate leap. He has devoted himself to his passion for skiing and founded SNOW51 in 2017. At the same time, he has a deep insight into and understanding of the development of snow and ice sports in China. In 2020, he was appointed as the director of the Ski Committee of the Third Council of Shanghai Snow and Ice Sports Association. In the context of the approaching Winter Olympics era, with the Chinese people's enthusiasm for skiing and all kinds of ice and snow sports rising, Mr. Ye Kai regards it as a mission and social responsibility to cultivate and promote ice and snow sports culture in China.
Mr. David Guigaz

Mr. David Guigaz
David Guigaz is holding the position of Mountain Project Director APAC in Club Med, responsible for Business development & strategy mountain in China, Japan and South Korea.
David Guigaz was a consultant in ski industry development at the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Sports from June 2001 to December 2006, assisting with marketing and sales of French ski resorts in the Middle East. From October 2006 to March 2010, he worked as a senior manager at Boyner Group, the largest department store and retailer in Turkey, where he was responsible for loyalty card programmes and travel services. From April 2010 to December 2015, he served as senior Strategy Manager at Affinion International UK in charge of the worldwide loyalty program and was responsible for Marketing & digital transformation. He also founded his own travel company Evasion Booking (rewarded online B2B booking engine and concierge services) in February 2016. David Guigaz has extensive expertise in tourism and e-commerce as well as a deep understanding of the Chinese ice sports market.
Ms. Li Zhang

Ms. Li Zhang
She is Vice President of Asia Digital Group since joining IDG, and previously Vice President of IDG China and also Vice President of IDG Ventures Management and Vice President of IDG Sports. She was a diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Chinese Embassy in Finland and later became a lecturer in Finance at Aalto University (previously Helsinki School of Economics). She has also founded Bright Sky Group and acted as the CEO of the company. She is completing her Ph.D. Degree in Finance at Aalto University (Finland). And she has a master’s degree in Finance from Columbia University (USA), a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Helsinki (Finland) and a bachelor’s degree in English and Information Management from Beijing Foreign Studies University (China).
She has over 20 years of work experience in the industry, government and academia with an international background in China, USA and Europe. She has rich experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, investment and merger and acquisition, venture philanthropy, impact investing, digital economy, education, culture, tourism, winter sports industry, mountain economics, financial technology (FinTech), information technology, AI, lean management, incubator and science park, and cross-culture management.
She is also the FinTech Expert accredited by China Capital Market Institute, Councilor of Steering Committee of China-Europe Health and Sports Council, Secretary General of Finland-China Entrepreneurs Association, the Entrepreneurship Mentor at the Students and Scholars Association, and the Honorary Chairperson of Cross-Culture Communication Translation Association, Editor- in-Chief of China Winter Sports White Paper, Councilor of China Sports Industry Research Institute, Vice Chairperson of the Steering and Evaluation Committee of China Winter Sports Awards, Councilor of Steering Committee of China-Europe Health and Sports Council.
Mr. Philipp Wunderlich

Mr. Philipp Wunderlich
Based in Shanghai, Philipp Wunderlich is in charge of FC Bayern’s China office and responsible for the club’s operations in the market which include commercial partnerships, marketing activities, media- & fan relations as well as football development programmes.
Having a career in the sport- & football industry for over 13 years, including Liverpool FC, RB Leipzig and the German Olympic Committee, he has rich experience in sports management, sports marketing, sports Sponsoring, Strategic Management.
One of his key assets at Bayern Munich is leveraging and optimizing local relationships with existing global & regional partners in a cross-functional way to drive business for all relevant stakeholders in the market. He holds a Master of Science from Northumbria University in Newcastle as well as a Bachelor of Arts from German Sport University in Cologne.
Mr. Sébastien Bodennec

Mr. Sébastien Bodennec
Based in Shanghai, Sébastien Bodennec has set up Babolat subsidiary in China and driven its growth with its teams (Sales, Marketing, Sport Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR, Legal). He also oversees the R&D and Quality teams based in Guangzhou. Sébastien holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris with majors at Tsinghua and Fudan, and a master's degree in Business Administration.
Often qualified as “Intrapreneur”, Sebastien is particularly interested in creating new partnerships and new ways of development for our sports (Tennis, Badminton, Padel) and to detect our next professional players. Babolat Brand aims to create, initiate and develop bridges between sport and education in China, in pursuit of offering kids new ways of growing up with sports.
Mr. Yue Liu

Mr. Yue Liu
Liu Yue is a Chinese football legend who used to play for Shandong Luneng, Yunnan Hongta F.C. and Chongqing Lifan F.C. while also representing China in the 1996 Asian Cup. During his career, Liu Yue won the U16 Asian Championship 1992, Chinese Jia-A League Champion 1999, and twice CFA Cup 1995 and 1999.
Since his retirement in 2005, Liu has moved into sports commentary with CCTV, Shanghai TV, PP Sports, Migu Sports, and so on. He has worked on over 3000 football matches live, recognised as the most famous Chinese football commentators, particularly for his tactical analysis.
Apart from his appearance on TV, Liu Yue has also worked on several youth training projects in China.

Dr. Ioana Kraft

Dr. Ioana Kraft
Ioana has been based in Shanghai since 2003 where she worked for the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (European Chamber) from 2004 to 2022. From 2009 to 2022 she served as General Manager of the Chamber’s Shanghai Chapter and was responsible for implementation and development of European Chamber objectives, visibility, and advocacy activities on a regional level in Shanghai and neighbouring regions.
Ioana is currently an Associate Director with X-PM Transition Partners, a leading European Executive Interim and Transition Management firm with teams in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong. X-PM is part of the WIL group, a network of 13 firms operating in 35 countries that deliver interim and transition solutions to clients around the world and offers a unique international “multi-sourcing” model that leverages the assets of each member firm and ensures the best assignments globally.
A German-qualified lawyer, Ioana practiced with a German law firm in Shanghai from 2003 and 2004. She also holds a PhD degree in law from Heinrich Heine University, Düsseldorf, where she worked from 1999 to 2003 as a Senior Research Assistant focussing on the areas of Civil Law, Insurance Law, Comparative Law, International Private Law and Labour Law.
