International Women's Day originates from the feminist movements that took place in Europe and the Americas in the early 20th century and has been celebrated for over 100 years, through which women's rights in the workplace and life have been increasingly emphasized. This year, it is celebrated under the theme Embrace Equity, calling on all people to participate in gender equity and work together to achieve an inclusive world.

Therefore, the European Chamber plans to organise an online event on "Women in Business", in which we would like to invite member companies to discuss the challenges and former practices regarding promoting workplace gender equity and outstanding women to share their experiences in overcoming the barriers.
