The Award aims to acknowledge CSR successes, raise sustainability awareness, and share the CSR experiences with organizations looking to embrace corporate responsibility in China.

A significant number of fresh graduates are not equipped with the competitive skills needed to function successfully in the current work environment in China, resulting in companies spending large amounts of time and money in training.
To help bridge the gap between students’ capabilities and market needs, the European Chamber Human Resources Working Group further recommends that companies get involved in developing university curriculum. Academia and business need to work hand in hand to share resources and develop competitive talent the market needs.
To discuss this topic at length, the European Chamber is delighted to welcome a host of professionals leading this change on the universities and companies side, who will share their experiences, challenges and best practices.

The current economic environment has some companies struggling, leading to restructurings, liquidations and insolvencies. Managers and HR departments should be prepared for the related challenges.
