Dear Member of the European Chamber in Tianjin,

The Tianjin Board Election, where the Tianjin Chapter Representative & Chairman of the Board (1) and the Tianjin Board Positions (4) are elected, will take place on Monday, April 13th, 2015 by final voting through email in Tianjin.

Please allow me to introduce the Election procedure.

Who can vote and run for elections?
You can vote and run for election if you:
1) are the Designated Representative (the main contact between the European Chamber and your company);
2) are an European member company with operations in China;
3) are a Member of one of our working groups or forums; and
4) have paid dues for the year 2015 (please make sure that the Chamber has received and confirmed your membership payment by March 31st, 2015).

How can I run for elections?
The nomination period is now open until 14pm on April 6th, 2015. If you would like to run for Tianjin Chairman or Board member, you need to:
1) Be nominated by two designated representatives of other member companies eligible to vote (please refer to the above section “who can vote and run for elections?”)
2) Fill in and sign the nomination form and candidate motivation letter  (please refer to the attached documents) The nomination form must also be signed by both the proposer and the seconder, woh must be members of the sectoral working group in good standing (with paid dues).
3) Send the above two forms scanned by e-mail to Ms. Kitty Wang at kwang@europeanchamber.com.cn before 14pm on April 6th, 2015.

The President of the European Chamber, Mr. Joerg Wuttke has appointed Mr. Adam Dunnett, European Chamber Secretary General as the Returning Officer for the elections.

Election Schedule:

- April 6th, 2015, 14:00: Nominations Close
- April 10th, 2015: List of Candidates Circulated to European Chamber Members
- April 13th, 2015: Board Election through email voting
