China merger and acquisitions (M&A) deal values soared to US$ 183 billion in the first half of 2014. Deal values rose 19% compared to the second half of 2013, with a marked difference in the transactions sizes being larger than last year. Similarly, China outbound M&A continue to climb in the second half, with privately-owned enterprises leading outbound activity in search of deal diversification and growth markets abroad. Mr Herve Roesch, Vice Chair of the PE-M&A working group and Partner, Advisory Services, PwC, will present PwC’s M&A 2014 Mid-Year Review.
