European SMEs importing or wishing to import products “Made in Europe” into China are kindly invited to attend the seminar about the European Trade Centre that will take place from 4pm till 6pm on Friday 11th July at the Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou.
The European Trade Centre (ETC), with an area of 430,000 m² and located in the Binhai New Area in Tianjin, aims at helping European SMEs penetrate the Chinese market or expand their business if they are already established in China. ETC offers European SMEs logistic support, government benefits and financial assistance, hence giving them a chance to develop their business in China. European SMEs have the opportunity to sell their products directly to ETC, establish a joint venture with ETC, or set up their own retail / wholesale operation at ETC. Target sectors include food and beverage, fashion, handicrafts, furniture and homeware. SMEs providing a “European lifestyle” service are also welcome to ETC (restaurants, bars, leisure, education and culture).
Following the presentation delivered by Mr. Ling Xiaoxiang, CEO of the European Trade Centre, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their products and services at B2B desks to the ETC purchasing and leasing team. Attendees are therefore encouraged to bring along some information and if they wish, some samples.
