March 31, Boehringer Ingelheim and Peking University jointly announced the winners of the 2024 “Boehringer Ingelheim Researcher Awards” and “Postdoctoral Fund Awards.” As a cornerstone of the strategic partnership between Peking University and Boehringer Ingelheim, the awards have honored 34 researchers since their inception in 2017, with over 20 papers published in top-tier journals such as Cell, Nature, and Science. Postdoctoral awardees also receive mentorship from Boehringer Ingelheim scientists, fostering a “dual-mentor” system that combines academic and industry expertise. Several research outcomes have been integrated into Boehringer Ingelheim’s R&D pipeline.
