On 12th October, Zhonghua Xu, European Chamber Energy Working Group Chair spoke at the 11th EU-China Energy Dialogue in Beijing. The Dialogue was co-chaired by Kadri Simson, EU Commissioner for Energy and Zhang Jianhua, Administrator of China's National Energy Administration. The EU-China energy dialogue was established in 1994 and was deepened and intensified by the 2019 joint statement on the implementation of EU-China cooperation.

On 28th September 2023, the European Chamber Energy Working Group and Enviornment Working Group co-organised the hybrid meeting on Green Electricity Certificates (GEC): Policy Updates and Industrial Exchanges and invited the officials and experts of relevant departments to discuss the latest policy updates on GEC, promote the exchange of the industry, and improve the green power consumption capacity of multinational companies.
