Lobby Letter to AQSIQ

On 15th September, the SCA WG submitted a lobby letter to AQSIQ regarding the implication of its released Announcement on <Valid Normative Documents and Abolishment of Some Normative Documents> in July 2014. This is a joint lobby action among USITO, EUCCC, ECFIC and JEITA. This letter expresses European Industry's position on administrative simplification,and also concerns over potential liability in relation to regulation abolishment, such as labeling specification and other affected technical requirements. The purpose of this letter is to get clarification from AQSIQ.

Meeting with PCPC – Getting in touch

This was the first face-to-face meeting among EUCCC Cosmetic Working Group (after Cocoa joined the EUCCC), Amcham and PCPC. All parties gave each other a brief introduction of its current working priorities. The discussion was mainly about cooperation of three parties on the industrial general concerns, such as CHMR revision. All parties shared information and agreed to work even closer on this area.
