Meeting with Jiangsu China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT)

On 15th August, Dr Andreas Risch, chair of the European Chamber Nanjing Board, welcomed Cong Sufeng, deputy director general (DDG) of the Jiangsu China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), to the Chamber’s Nanjing office. DDG Cong gave a brief introduction to the Jiangsu CCPIT and called for the strengthening of communication and cooperation between Chinese and European businesses.
DDG Cong invited Dr Risch to attend the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Jiangsu CCPIT, and proposed to co-organise seminars, conferences and business match-making events with the European Chamber in order to better engage members of both organisations. Dr Risch presented the Nanjing Position Paper 2023/2024 to DDG Cong and shared members’ concerns and recommendations.
