On Thursday 7th April 2016, Mei and Haiyan visited Mr. Cheng Taibing, the Director of Liaison Division at the Nanjing Federation of Industry and Commerce. On the meeting, Mr. Cheng introduced the work plan of Liaison Division in 2016. Two sides would like to work together to enhance the communication between the member companies of the two organizations.

Ø  Four programs of Liaison Division in 2016

·         Organizing Chinese private companies to go to Europe and have training on Germany Industry 4.0;  but 60% this type of program was canceled by State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs(国家外专局) this year;

·         Establish Nanjing Chamber of Commerce in European; the ideal country is German;

·         Organizing the forum with the purpose of driving the “One Belt One Road” Initiative in the September;

·         promote the foreign economic and trade cooperation, including facilitating Chinese companies entering Europe;  organize activities with representatives of trade promotion agencies to explore the Chinese market,  such as Netherlands’ medical apparatus and instruments, Spanish wine;

Ø  the joint event: European Enterprises visit SUNING

·         Participants:  around 40 Managers of European enterprises
