·       Understand the business related political and regulatory environment in China, track and monitor the industrial policy and regulatory process, participate in policy/ regulatory development for protecting company's business interests.

 

·       Work closely with Supply Chain and Legal teams for joint efforts to influence the making and development of technical standards, mainly with ministries and trade associations, in a way supportive to the company's business objectives.

 

·       Proactively support the supervisor to maintain and expand good relationship with key government agencies and associations through daily communication and ESG, CSR initiatives.

Skills & experience

Qualification

Education background

 

·       Bachelor’s degree or above on Food Science/Chemistry/Law/Public Policy, with background on Fermentation Engineering as a plus.

 

·       Minimum 3-5 years of working experience on regulatory affairs and technical standards, with regulatory affairs expertise on food industry and/or corporation affairs preferred.

 

Technical competencies (Job related)

 

·       Strong capabilities to express in both written and spoken Chinese and English.

 

·       Willingness and strong abilities to learn, analyze and solve problems.

 

·       Proactive communication skills.

 

·       Ownership and innovation.

 

·       Proficient computer skills.
