The Heating Sub-working Group was created in 2002. It is comprised of 14 leading European manufacturers operating in the Chinese heating appliance market. These companies produce highly efficient and renewable heating technologies, as well as heating components. In 2016, the European Heating China Initiative became a sub-working group of the Construction Working Group. Together with its parent group, the initiative strives to promote advanced European heating technology relating to eco-friendly heating and hot water systems; to strengthen dialogue with Chinese regulators on domestic standards and certification; to assist in China’s efforts to implement the highest international standards in the heating sector and to contribute to sustainable development.
