Recent regulatory developments—such as the release of national sustainability disclosure standards, the expansion of China’s carbon emissions trading scheme, and the introduction of PCF-related pilot initiatives in chemical industrial parks—have underlined the increasing urgency for companies to build robust PCF measurement and reporting capabilities. However, diverging methodologies, data gaps, and regulatory ambiguities continue to present challenges. To foster mutual understanding and practical dialogue, the PCR Working Group will lead a seminar focused on aligning PCF policy developments and sharing industry best practices for PCF implementation.
