With the property sector remaining sluggish, the Chinese government has introduced a series of measures to promote urban infrastructure renewal, aiming to revitalise existing assets and stimulate economic activity. However, the market remains scattered, and many European companies face significant hurdles in participating effectively in such programmes.
The Construction Forum in Shanghai invites you to join us at the Sika Suzhou R&D Centre to explore the challenges and potential solutions for corporate participation in China’s urban infrastructure renewal drive. Key topics will include overcoming market entry and financing barriers, navigating policy incentives and procurement processes, and developing innovative products and technologies tailored for urban renewal projects.
Sika is a specialty chemicals company that develops systems and products for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing, and protection in the building sector and industrial manufacturing. Sika works to support transformation of the construction and transportation sector toward greater environmental compatibility. The visit will also highlight construction green practices in China - including localisation of R&D to address local climate and material conditions, collaboration with municipal authorities and industry partners on sustainable construction standards, and adoption of advanced manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
