The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to join the upcoming Sustainable CEO Talk with Bekaert China and AB InBev Budweiser APAC from 15:30 - 17:10 on 15th December 2022. The Sustainable CEO Talks series will kick off on 15th December and will be joined by the 2022 SBA judges, who will share their observations and feedback for applications and winning cases.
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China welcomes Mr Chris Ma, Vice President and Head of Sustainability North Asia, Bekaert, and Mr Jan Clysner, Vice President of Procurement and Sustainability, Budweiser APAC to present key aspects of their successful projects. In the Q&A discussion panel, the two speakers will be joined by Ms Camille Fourmeau, Deputy Economic Counsellor, Consulate General of France in Shanghai, Dr Xiaojun Qian, Professor and Associate Dean of Academics, Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University, and Mr Xidelong Guo, Independent Advisor.
The European Chamber Sustainable Business Awards (SBA) is to reward excellence in sustainable and CSR company programmes and raise awareness about sustainable business practices and responsible operating models. As a part of SBA, the Sustainable CEO Talk series events aim to bring corporate leaders together and explore effective ways of sustainable business development. The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to attend the Advanced Performer in Decarbonisation CEO Talk One where Bekaert China and AB InBev Budweiser APAC, two winners from the Advanced Performer in Decarbonisation category will outline their successful projects and practises in low-carbon transformation, carbon reduction, green development and others.

Advisory Council Policy:
Members of the Advisory Council may receive complimentary admission to Chamber seminars, conferences and factory visit up to two attendees per event. Additional participants will be charged at the member rate.
Advisory Council members will still be charged the standard member rate for participation in training courses and special events, such as gala balls, government appreciation dinners, or admission to tournaments.

Mr. Chris Ma

Mr. Chris Ma
Chris MA joined the Bekaert Group in 2008. He started his career with the company as a Bekaert China Sawing Wire General Manager in Bekaert Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, the Bekaert North Asia head-quarter in Shanghai.
From 2008-2012, sawing wire business serving the solar PV market contributed significantly to Bekaert’s growth in China
In Sept 2012, Chris MA was appointed VP of Procurement North Asia, to lead the procurement China team and he became a member of the Bekaert China Leadership Team formed by then. In 2016, he was appointed VP of BU sawing wire global while managing procurement at the same time. Over the years in various capacities, he has been a key player and a leader to grow Bekaert's business as well as the team in China for his great leadership.
From June 2022, Chris MA took over the responsibility of the new role of Sustainability Lead in North Asia and played a critical role to establish the direction, implementation, measure, and report on Bekaert Sustainability initiatives in North Asia in close collaboration with the businesses and across multiple departments and key stakeholders.
Prior to Bekaert, Chris Ma worked in both China and USA for multinational companies (Philips, Air Liquide) in various senior executive positions.
Mr. Jan Clysner

Mr. Jan Clysner
Mr. Clysner has a wealth of experience with almost two decades of experience in the beer industry. He joined AB InBev in December 2002 and held several roles in Sourcing and Procurement until December 2007. In January 2008, Mr. Clysner was appointed as the Procurement Project Director of AB InBev. He successively served at several roles in AB InBev, including the Procurement Director of Indirects of Western Europe, the Head of Procurement of Zone Western Europe and the Vice President of Global Logistics Sourcing from January 2010 to December 2016. In January 2017, he was appointed as the Vice President of Procurement and Sustainability of APAC South. He orchestrated strategies to achieve 2025 Sustainability Goals in the Asia Pacific, with a laser focus on talent cultivation and sustainability mindset intertwined in the day-to-day business. Mr. Clysner obtained a Degree in Applied Economical Sciences from Hasselt University in Diepenbeek, Belgium in 1994.
Ms. Camille Fourmeau

Ms. Camille Fourmeau
Ms. Camille Fourmeau is a young graduate appointed at the Economic department of the French Consulate in Shanghai to support French companies’ development in China and ensure dialogue with local authorities and institutions. Her recent activities include accompanying industries in the field of green building, green technologies, and green innovation.
Ms. Camille Fourmeau holds a degree in Environment, Politics, and Society from University College London and in Environmental Science from Ecole Polytechnique, a renowned French engineering school. She worked on several subjects linking environmental issues and international relations, especially through the analyses of energy transition strategies in the Asia – Pacific region.
Prof. Xiaojun Qian

Prof. Xiaojun Qian
Qian Xiaojun is a full time professor at the Department of Leadership and Organization Management, School of Economics and Management (Tsinghua SEM), associate dean, Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University.
She is a member of the 12th and 13th CPPCC Beijing Municipal Committee. She was an associate dean of Tsinghua SEM (2015-2018), the Director of Planning and Quality Assurance Office of Tsinghua SEM (2006-2013), the director of MBA Programs of the school (2001-2006) and the assistant dean responsible for academic degrees (2006-2009). She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1992, M.S. in mathematics in 1988 from Purdue University, Indiana, USA, and B.S. in applied mathematics from Tsinghua University in 1982. Her research interests include perception of leadership and organizational behavior, managerial communication, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability. Professor Qian teaches Managerial Communication (MBA and Executive Education), Data, Model and Decisions (MBA), Ethics and Social Responsibility (MBA and EMBA) as well as Sustainability (MBA) at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University.
Mr. Xidelong Guo

Mr. Xidelong Guo
Guo Xidelong, currently working as an independent advisor, supporting several non-governmental organizations and projects on developing their sustainable finance related strategies and implementation plans. Prior to this work, he worked as the head of Corporate and Supply Chain department at Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) China, developing climate and energy transition strategies and tactics including, providing policy advocacy and technical support to policy makers, promoting Chinese companies for a higher quality environmental climate -related information disclosure consistent with the requirements of the TCFD framework, and building capacities to investors in for aligning their portfolios to the Paris Agreement pathway. Besides, Mr.Guo worked as a Climate/ESG investment specialist at Greenpeace EastAsia, and as a consultant on Sustainability on Emerging Market Project at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and at PwC.
Ms. Tiantian Qi

Ms. Tiantian Qi
Tiantian is the Senior Business Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the Sino-EU government relations industry. Skilled in Corporate Social Responsibility, International Relations, Programme Design, Marketing, and Policy Analysis cross the food and beverage sector, the auto sector as well as retail and satellite industry.
During her role leading the CSR Forum of the European Chamber, she organised European Chamber 10th Anniversary Conference in 2015 and coordinated with more than 30 member companies’ speakers, led (edited, designed, coordinated) and managed the CSR White Paper project which includes the liaison and coordination of more than 10 Member States Consulate Generals in Shanghai and 20 sponsor companies in 2016; Organised the 2017 European Chamber Shanghai Chapter first Sustainable Business Awards(more than 200 participants with 15 company applications and 3 final winners during a period of 6 months of work) and designed seven series of CEO Talks, 4 rounds of Zero Plastic Campaigns and 2 Work and Life Balance series seminars as well as 2 Sustainable Business Talks in 2017; Organised the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation CSR Dialogue at the European Chamber in April 2018 and the 2018 SBA in September; Established Shanghai Local Media (Shine: Shanghai Daily App) cooperation with European Chamber and launched European Chamber Sustainable Column at Shanghai Daily in 2017; Led the European Chamber CSR Team teach at Shanghai University for its MBA students on CSR together with the Swedish CSR Ambassador in summer 2017 and 2018; Led the CSR delegation join the European Commission Multi-Stakeholder Meeting in Brussels and coordinate the member speech delivered on CSR in China on February 2015(First time in the history of the Multi-Stakeholder meeting to host delegates from China and hear China CSR practice).
