The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, a champion of corporate social responsibility for over twenty years, is proud to announce the launch of their 2024 CSR Awards. The goal of the CSR Awards is to celebrate organisations dedicated to excellent corporate responsibility in China, highlight innovative and sustainable products and services, and inspire others to ethical action. 
The year of 2023 marked the 10th anniversary of the CSR Awards , honoring international and Chinese business and organization leaders, CSR experts, and government representatives from across China. 14 winners were selected and commended for their exceptional commitment to creating a positive social and environmental impact. 
This year, as we entered the 11th year, we are excited to announce the new awards to better reflect the CSR trends and celebrate the achievements of CSR practices in new areas. This year, we will have

As part of its 30/60 carbon neutrality goals, China set a goal for renewable energy to exceed fossil fuel capacity by 2025. Additionally, China’s Green Energy Certificate (GEC) scheme is set to enter a new stage, with it becoming the sole instrument to track renewable energy consumption in China. Alongside this, China is taking firm steps towards standardising business carbon practices. The country's top economic planner, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), has announced that the country will speed up the establishment of a product carbon footprint (PCF) system.

The 2024 edition will continue to put sustainability awareness at the forefront of its focus, recognising companies who push for sustainable economic growth, environmental care and social welfare.
