Jens Ewert, a Senior Partner with Deloitte China, has over 30 years of working experience in the professional services, based in Shanghai since end 2002 – he has been a member of Deloitte China Eastern Region Management team since then. Jens is the national leader for Deloitte China Life Science & Health Care Industry, leading a dedicated industry team comprising over 1000+ partners and professionals. He also covers our full range of multidisciplinary services, from consulting, risk & financial & tax advisory and audit & assurance, offering to Multinational Clients in China.
Jens has received the ‘Magnolia Silver Award’ from the Shanghai Government in September 2021, recognizing foreign business leaders for their special and outstanding contribution to the City’s development. He is also a Board member at the EUCCC Shanghai and the National Vice-Chair of the Investment Working group at the EU Chamber in China.
Prior to moving to China, he has been working in numerous countries always in professional services, such as France, Hungary, Vietnam and Indonesia. He hold a Master degree from University Paris X Dauphine in Business & Finance and a Diploma of Political Science from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. He also attended numerous executive programs at IMD and Insead. He is married to Christine and calls France his home.

Kai Kim is a partner in Taylor Wessing’s China Group and a member of the firm's Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. He advises on a broad scope of corporate and commercial law matters, ranging from the incorporation and operation of companies to cross-border M&A transactions, with a particular focus on China-related projects. He is recognised as a key lawyer for China M&A/Corporate in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2024.

Besides his legal career, Kai is a graduate in Sinology and is a visiting lecturer at his alma mater, Humboldt University of Berlin and the Free University of Berlin, where he regularly teaches Chinese law. Furthermore, he collaborates with several startup programs supporting foreign startups entering the Chinese market, such as serving as a mentor with the German Accelerator program.

Chengfei joined PwC Société d’Avocats (law firm of PwC France) in April 2006 in Paris, is director now. He specializes in both China/French corporate tax and international tax with Sino-French bi cultural (French and Chinese speaker).

Chengfei is currently working for PwC Shanghai tax service (French tax desk) from October 8th 2013 . He has been involved extensively in dealings with European/French cross-border investment into the China and has extensive experiences in advising European/French multinational companies to formulate their investment strategies, structure their expansion and streamline their operating structures to comply with various business and tax regulations in China.

Since 2006, he has worked for a broad range of top tear financial and strategic clients (e.g. CAC 40 groups and European mid-cap companies). His experience encompasses a broad range of industries including Automotive, energy and utilities, consumer products, healthcare, industrial, transport, sports and media.

Chengfei obtained a Master degree of Corporate tax law from Paris Dauphine University (2006) as well as a Master degree of International commercial law from Paris X Nanterre University (2006).
