Moreover, it has been shown that empowering women spurs productivity and economic growth. In the business world, gender equality also matters. Companies having more women at top level positions are not only more profitable, but also more sustainable. Lin Jialei, Programme Manager of UN Women China. With working area focusing on Women’s Economic Empowerment , she took part in formulation and implementation of projects including Gender Equality and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Women’s Access to Equal Employment and Leadership in China. Since 2015, She has actively engaged in designing and organizing UN Women China’s annual International Conference on Gender Equality and CSR. She has extensive experience in project management and CSR. Prior to joining UN Women, she has over 10 years of relevant work experience in private sector and non profit organizations in China and the Netherlands.
